There are often arguments that people feel responsibility for the ongoing issue of climate change will be able to make micro changes which can positively influence the climate emergency. This feeling of responsibility can be a combination of factors such as personal beliefs, values, and social pressures. This study looks specifically at whether human values contribute to towards a feeling of responsibility. By understanding a populations feeling towards responsibility for climate change, non-profit organizations and lobbyist can better frame stakeholders concerns to policy makers and develop realistic policies to address the climate.
